“Diversification is the only free lunch in finance.”

— Harry Markowitz

Addison WigginDear Reader,

One of my tennis buddies asked me to lunch today. I couldn’t resist the opportunity for a deep dive into my Tennis Buddy Indicator (TBI).

The real problem with my tennis buddies is they’re all nice guys. They all have their families in mind during every conversation. They have siblings here, kids there, grandkids elsewhere. If you need a picture, I can draw one.

Mark Fischer runs his own business. He specializes in hospitality, helping hotels, clubs, restaurants and other such businesses turn a profit. “A lot of the owners don’t understand profit and loss statements,” he tells us. “They’re more concerned about their checkbooks.”

We imagine his life is pretty similar to yours. Mr. Fischer isn’t a Reserve member, but he listens to our Wiggin Session podcasts. And like you, he’s trying to navigate his money through today’s [expletive deleted] world.

He credits the world around us with bringing several great ideas to his attention, including international real estatephysical precious metals… and biotechnology stocks. We also know he was pretty excited by Cybin’s profit potential and Will Bonner’s thoughts on Argentinian wine.

We’ll leave you with that for today. Let’s goooo!

Follow your bliss,

Addison Wiggin
